About Us
WHAT IS THE ORDER OF ST. LUKE THE PHYSICIAN?
The International Order of St. Luke the Physician (OSL)
is an ecumenical organization dedicated to the Christian
healing ministry. The Order of St. Luke has members throughout
North America and the world. Members believe healing to
be an essential part of the teaching and practice of Our
Lord Jesus Christ as set forth in the Gospels and in the
Acts of the Apostles. Members desire to bring back this
teaching to its rightful place within the Christian Church,
through constructive teaching and through cooperation with
those clergy, physicians and psychologists who have discovered
in the Divine Being the Source and Secret of Wholeness.
OSL welcomes inquiries about the healing ministry. For

THE NATIONAL CAPITAL CHAPTER OF OSL
You are cordially invited to attend our chapter meetings.
We meet at St. Albans Church, next to the National Cathedral,
on the second Sunday of each month, September through June,
from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. At our meetings, we plan for chapter
activities, discuss conferences and workshops that members
have attended, share news about upcoming workshops and
conferences, have guest speakers, and discuss books we
are studying together. We regularly pray for each other.
The chapter will provide speakers to groups interested
in the healing ministry, training for healing ministers,
and leaders for healing services and visitations. We can
also assist you to begin a healing prayer ministry at your
church.
For more information about our Chapter, call Paul Rae at (703) 971-7984, or e-mail
to TheRaes@cox.net.
